In a newly released body‑camera clip, police officers in Massachusetts publicly apprehended Luigi Mangione outside a McDonald’s restaurant. The footage shows officers pulling a backpack from Mangione’s possession, discovering a rifle magazine and a handgun.
Mangione has already pleaded guilty to federal charges for his role in the murder of UnitedHealthcare chief executive Brian Thompson on June 22. The video, used by the same civil‑rights guardian as earlier media of the arrest, raises questions about the timing and handling of this evidence.
