Recent reports from Honduras highlighted that a group of 26 Venezuelan and Cuban migrants was seen heading back to Nicaragua, alongside another group of 23 individuals from Honduras, Venezuela, Panama, and El Salvador heading away from Mexico. “These individuals cited fortified security along the U.S.-Mexico border and Mexico’s active border control measures as essential reasons for their decision to turn back,” Banks added.
