Katrin Ivanova, a 33-year-old Bulgarian woman residing in the UK, has vehemently denied charges of conspiracy to spy for Russia, asserting in court that she was unaware that the information she gathered would be sent to Russian authorities. Ms. Ivanova is accused of participating in operations that targeted US military resources in Germany and involved indistinguishable surveillance of two investigative journalists viewed as adversaries by the Russian government.
