According to local police reports, the accident has also left at least 14 individuals injured, including four children, as confirmed by a local hospital official in a video statement.
Authorities indicated that the incident occurred between the cities of Potosí and Oruro. Investigators believe that speeding may have been a critical factor, with police colonel Victor Benavides stating that the driver was "unable" to maintain control of the vehicle. This crash stands out as one of the most catastrophic road incidents in Bolivia this year.
