US news anchor Savannah Guthrie and her family have released a new video pleading for the safe return of their mother, Nancy Guthrie.
In the video posted on Instagram, Savannah, alongside her two siblings, said, We received your message, and we understand. We beg you now to return our mother to us so that we can celebrate with her. She emphasized that their mother’s safe return is vital for their peace.
Nancy Guthrie disappeared from her Tucson home last weekend, and authorities suspect abduction. This past week, police confirmed they have not yet identified any suspects but are offering a reward of $50,000 for any leads.
Her family noted that fear looms large due to her absence of necessary medication. Savannah urged, She is without any medicine. She needs it to survive. She needs it not to suffer.
Authorities are also exploring a ransom note linked to the case, and discussions continue on possible monetary demands. Savannah and her family have expressed their willingness to communicate with whoever has her mother, seeking proof of life.
The public and local communities continue to support the search as both the FBI and local law enforcement remain hopeful for a resolution, maintaining that Nancy Guthrie is still alive.
