A plane with 12 people on board has crashed in Kwale near Kenya's coast, as reported by the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA).
The aircraft was traveling from the coastal town of Diani to the Kichwa Tembo resort in a game park when it went down at 5:30 AM local time (2:30 AM GMT).
Reports indicate that the passengers included tourists, and local media have released images of the burning wreckage at the crash site.
The KCAA has confirmed that government agencies are presently on-site to assess the situation and investigate the cause of the crash.
