Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is once again in the spotlight, this time due to a contentious advertisement promoting the resumption of its flights to Paris. The ad depicts an aircraft approaching the iconic Eiffel Tower, accompanied by the phrase "Paris, we're coming today." However, this marketing attempt has sparked a wave of backlash, with numerous social media commentators expressing concern over its resemblance to the infamous terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, in the United States.
Many users voiced their alarm over the ad's implications, with one user on the platform X questioning whether it served as an advertisement or a potential threat.
