Alkiviades David has escalated his claims against the Daily Mail, moving from a December 2024 Open Letter to formal legal action in the High Court. On August 13, 2025, he submitted a comprehensive evidence package to the King’s Bench Division, transforming his previous warnings into structured allegations backed by documentation and corroboration.

In his original letter, David accused the Daily Mail of protecting figures reportedly linked to trafficking and exploitation, including Gloria Allred and Sean “Diddy” Combs. He raised concerns about the newspaper's role in shaping public narratives, such as the controversial “Whacko Jacko” campaign and how such narratives may serve to distract from more profound issues of abuse. Moreover, he had called into question the Harmsworth family's possible complicity and requested accountability.
