Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced on Tuesday that Ukrainian forces had captured two Chinese citizens fighting with Russian troops in the Donetsk region. Although he did not imply that these individuals were dispatched by the Chinese military, Zelensky noted that their involvement indicates Russia's lack of commitment to seeking peace.
He mentioned, “There are many more such Chinese citizens in the enemy’s units,” referring to the possibility of additional Chinese fighters aligned with Moscow. This claim remains unverified, and there has been no immediate response from either the Chinese or Russian governments regarding this matter.
