Hashem Abedi, who is currently incarcerated in Frankland Prison, County Durham, England, has been accused of launching a violent attack on three officers in the prison, resulting in serious injuries.
According to the Prison Officers’ Association, the incident took a disturbing turn when Abedi allegedly threw hot cooking oil on the guards before using makeshift weapons to stab them. Hashem Abedi, at 28, is serving a life sentence with a minimum term of 55 years for his involvement in the 2017 Manchester bombing, which resulted in the deaths of 22 individuals during an Ariana Grande concert.
