In brief
Air Arabia announced a schedule change that introduces a second daily flight to Sharjah from Moscow. The new G9‑951 service departs at 15:20 Moscow time on a single‑class Airbus A320neo and carries 174 seats. The change expands passengers’ access to destinations such as the Maldives, Phuket, Colombo and Dhaka via Sharjah.
On 12 December 2026 Air Arabia will increase the frequency of flights between Moscow’s Domodedovo Airport and Sharjah International Airport, as announced by the airline’s Moscow press service. The revised schedule will add a new daily service in addition to the existing flight, making two departures per day available to passengers travelling between the Russian capital and the UAE’s western hub.
The newly added flight, designated G9 951, will depart Domodedovo at 15:20 Moscow time and arrive in Sharjah at 14:20 local time. It will operate on an Airbus A320neo configured as a single‑class cabin and seat 174 passengers. The service will run five hours and forty minutes, offering a convenient mid‑afternoon option for travellers.
The original G9 806 flight will continue to leave Domodedovo at 22:55 Moscow time and arrive in Sharjah at 18:50 local time, maintaining the overnight door‑to‑door connection that many passengers rely upon.
"Starting December 12, Air Arabia will operate two daily flights from Domodedovo to Sharjah International Airport (UAE)."

Adding the G9 951 schedule will broaden travel possibilities via Sharjah for destinations such as the Maldives, Phuket, Colombo, Bangkok, Jeddah, Medina and Dhaka. By providing two daily windows, the airline hopes to accommodate a wider range of travel itineraries for business, leisure and transit passengers.
The aircraft chosen for the new route will carry only a single‑class cabin, reflecting a focus on cost‑effective seating. With 174 seats on the A320neo, the airline can keep fares competitive while still delivering the high operating efficiency that the narrow‑body jet offers for medium‑haul flights.
Travelers will experience a flight duration of five hours and forty minutes from Moscow to Sharjah, aligning with the timing of the existing G9 806 overnight operation. This steam‑line schedule provides passengers the opportunity to either travel during the late evening or travel later in the afternoon, depending on their itinerary preferences.
The expansion is expected to benefit those who use Sharjah as a connecting hub to a wide variety of Asian, African and Middle‑Eastern destinations. The increased frequency may also reduce congestion on alternative flight corridors and provide more flexibility for last‑minute travel arrangements.
According to the press statement, the new flight will reinforce Air Arabia’s strategy to enhance connectivity between Russia and the broader Middle East region, while catering to the increasing demand for travel to high‑profile tourist and business destinations available via Sharjah.
