**Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath Set to Reunite for Final Fundraising Concert**

Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath will headline a special one-day festival in Birmingham, marking their last performance together.

The concert, the first of its kind featuring the original band in 20 years, supports several charities and showcases various heavy metal acts.

Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath have officially announced their reunion for a final fundraising concert, titled "Back To The Beginning," scheduled for July 5th in Birmingham. This event will take place at Villa Park and aims to support Cure Parkinson's, the Birmingham Children's Hospital, and Acorn Children's Hospice.

Fans are set to experience a unique festival where the iconic heavy metal band will share the stage with numerous legendary acts that they have inspired over the years, including Metallica, Pantera, Slayer, and Gojira. This marks the first reunion of the original Black Sabbath lineup—Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward—in two decades.

Ozzy Osbourne, who faces health challenges due to Parkinson's disease and spinal injuries, is choosing to perform a short solo set before rejoining his bandmates. His wife Sharon stated that the 76-year-old is eager for this opportunity to connect with friends and fans one last time. "He didn't have a chance to say goodbye. This is his full stop," she explained.

The concert promises to be a star-studded affair, featuring a "supergroup" of music icons such as Billy Corgan, Slash, and Tom Morello, who will perform both Sabbath and Ozzy’s solo songs. Tom Morello, currently serving as the event's musical director, expressed confidence that this could be "the greatest heavy metal show ever."

Known as the architects of heavy metal since their inception in 1968, Black Sabbath previously held a farewell concert in 2017 in front of a sold-out crowd at the NEC Arena, marking the end of an extensive tour that celebrated their decades-long career. Ozzy reflected on the journey and thanked fans for their enduring support, emphasizing the importance of their connection.

Despite stepping away from touring in recent years, Osbourne’s passion for performing remains strong. He recently expressed to Rolling Stone UK his determination to return to the stage under the right conditions, insisting, "I'm not going to get up there and do a half-hearted Ozzy looking for sympathy..."

This upcoming event represents not just a musical milestone for Osbourne and Black Sabbath, but a heartfelt farewell to fans worldwide, encapsulating the legacy of one of heavy metal’s most influential bands.
