Mumbai police have taken a significant step in their investigation into the stabbing of Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan, arresting a man purportedly involved in the attack that occurred last week. Following his arrest, Shehzad was remanded to five days of police custody, despite his lawyer, Sandeep Shikhane, vehemently denying the charges and claiming his client is being unfairly vilified as a "scapegoat."
