In Lahj Governorate, Yemen, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) reported on 3 November 2026 that it was distributing safe drinking water to displaced and host communities as part of Saudi Arabia’s emergency water and sanitation response. The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said the initiative involved 15 distribution points and benefited 1,919 people from 340 families.

In contrast, a page linked to KSrelief, though currently yielding a “page not found” error, had previously asserted that the centre had provided safe drinking water to 691 families spread across five camps in Lahj Governorate. The figures differ in both the number of beneficiaries and the classification of households.

Spanning both accounts, the common thread is that KSrelief remains active in supporting water access for vulnerable populations in Yemen. The SPA narrative emphasizes a systematic distribution through set points, while the KSrelief page emphasis on family units and camp coverage.

Beyond water distribution, KSrelief also announced a training course in Lahj focused on renewable energy products such as solar ovens and lamps. The announcement was shared on a Facebook group post, indicating a broader approach to resilience that includes both basic utilities and renewable technology training.

These simultaneous updates illustrate the organisation’s expanded humanitarian scope: delivering immediate water needs while fostering longer‑term resilience through educational initiatives.
