In brief

In its latest quarterly results, Saudi Aramco said its adjusted net income climbed 9% year‑on‑year to $31.2 billion. The company highlighted strong downstream earnings, progress on upstream projects, and a new stake in artificial‑intelligence firm HUMAIN, while also declaring a $21.9 billion base dividend.

On November 3, 2026, Riyadh‑based Aramco reported that its adjusted net income for the third quarter rose 9 percent year‑on‑year to $31.2 billion, prompting coverage from several major outlets.

Xinhua, the state‑run news agency, framed the increase as driven by "strong operating performance and refining margins," noting that "cash flow from operating activities reached $38.7 billion," up from $36.1 billion a year earlier. Xinhua also highlighted the company’s upstream production progress and its recent acquisition of a 49‑percent stake in the AI firm HUMAIN.

The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) echoed the headline figures but added that the board declared a $21.9 billion base dividend, up 3.5 percent from the prior year. SPA stressed the role of operational resilience and said the company’s supply network remained robust amid regional tensions. It also mentioned a joint‑venture agreement for mineral exploration and hard‑rock mining that follows the HUMAIN acquisition.

"Backed by our strong balance sheet, we remain focused on the disciplined execution of priority projects, and on leveraging advanced technologies to enhance performance and unlock new opportunities," said CEO Amin Nasser, as reported by SPA.

Backed by our strong balance sheet, we remain focused on the disciplined execution of priority projects, and on leveraging advanced technologies to enhance performance and unlock new opportunities.

Both outlets noted the downstream adjusted EBIT surge of 234 percent, attributing it mainly to "stronger refining margins" and citing the recent start of production at the Zuluf crude oil increment as a key operational milestone.

Upstream projects such as Jafurah phase two, the Fadhili Gas Plant expansion, and the Dammam field development were reported as "on track," with the East‑West Pipeline continuing to provide export flexibility, according to Xinhua.

In addition to the financial results, the acquisition of a 49‑percent stake in the AI firm HUMAIN was described by both outlets as a strategic move to deepen Aramco's presence in artificial intelligence. The deal involved a $2.6 billion cash contribution and the transfer of assets, a detail highlighted in Xinhua’s statement.

The announcement also included plans to "explore additional overseas storage capacity and alternative export routes," signaling an effort to strengthen the company’s global supply network in the face of continued geopolitical uncertainty.
