In brief
Saudi Press Agency said Israeli settlers and forces carried out violent attacks against Palestinian olive farmers across five West Bank governorates on 31 October 2026. Victims included injured farmers, arrested local residents and foreign supporters, and forced evictions that left more than 30 families without land. The alleged incidents involved the use of gas bombs, shootings, and the establishment of new settlement outposts.
Saudi Press Agency reported on 31 October 2026 that Israeli settlers and military forces carried out violent attacks on Palestinian olive farmers across five West Bank governorates, resulting in injuries, arrests, crop theft, and forced evictions.
In the Ramallah and Bethlehem Governorate, the Agency noted that Israeli military use of gas bombs led to suffocation among residents in the village of Kefar Malek, which was declared an open military zone. Settlers fired live ammunition into homes in Al‑Maqala and broke olive trees in the area of Baraqah. Several Palestinians and a foreign supporter were arrested, and farmers were forced to abandon their fields in Salta and Tarmsia.
In the Hebron Governorate, five Palestinian farmers were wounded during a settler assault in the Tell al‑Ramida neighborhood of Hebron. Israeli troops raided the houses of two residents in Deir Baha, killing and detonating them from a distance. A youth from Wadi al‑Karm was detained. The Agency said these incidents reflected a broader pattern of military aggression against olive growers.
The Nablus Governorate experienced similar violence, with a farmer injured during a settler raid on the Mas’udiyah area and his crop seized. The Agency described a strike on farmers in the eastern village of Al‑Laban that forced more than 30 residents to abandon their lands. Settlers also attacked farmers in the villages of Bait Djen and Bita, as well as in the area of Asirah Khillah, and blocked access to orchards in Salem.
In the Bethlehem Governorate, Israeli forces assaulted olive growers and foreign supporters in Abu Najim, compelling them to leave their property under armed threat. Three of the farmers were arrested, and dozens of foreign supporters were detained and led to a nearby settlement outpost. The victims were ordered to abandon their fields.
Salfit Governorate witnessed a case in which a farmer was taken to hospital after being hit by settlers in the Wadat area north of the town of Brookin. Property damage to the farmer’s vehicles was reported. The Israeli military allegedly used force and demolition charges during the confrontation.
Saudi Press Agency’s account indicates a pattern of repeated violations by Israeli settlers and forces across the West Bank, focusing on olive farms, forced removal of Palestinian families, and the expansion of settlement outposts. The report documents at least five Palestinian injuries, multiple arrests of farmers and international supporters, theft of olive produce, and the forced exodus of numerous families across the five governorates.
